Highland Hundred members are offered an unique opportunity each fall to host a small group of football players for our Feed The Players night. This is a great opportunity for our members to get to know a few of the Tigers that many only see from a distance on football Saturdays. The players are in the homes of the participating members for a few hours of good food and fellowship that help cement the bond between our athletes and the Highland Hundred membership. Feed The Players is coordinated through the football office and participants agree to follow all NCAA regulations regarding permissible contact between athletes and boosters. Dates each season will be announced through the Highland Hundred, so keep an ear open and plan on taking part of this wonderful opportunity to support Tiger Football in a very unique and special way.
For the past decade, the Highland Hundred hosts the Annual Highland Hundred / Les Phillips Memorial Golf Tournament that helps fund the Summer Football Camps offered by the University. The golf tournament is a four-man scramble with shotgun starts for morning and afternoon flights with lunch served with gift bags and prizes awarded.
The Senior Banquet is held at the end of the football season and is an opportunity for our members to say "thank you" to our football players who have given so much to the university during their careers. In addition to comments from the coach and other dignitaries, a highlight video is shown of the seniors' game action and special awards are distributed. Those awards include Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year, Offensive Lineman of the Year, the Role Player Award, the Black and Blue Award, Offensive and Defensive Scout Team Players of the Year, and the Murray Armstrong/Top Tiger Award. Each player is given a framed action photo of themselves.
